AES E-Club is a non political, non-religious and non-profit making organization. As Nigeria's intellectual club, the AES E-club is dedicated to addressing socio-political and economic policy issues which affects National development. The club is made up of some of the best brains in the public and private sectors who have distinguished themselves as Chairman/CEO of various organizations.

Annual National Conference

A high profile gathering of intellectuals, leadership and entrepreneurship icons to brainstorm and proffer solutions, to the Nigerian project.

AES Excellent Leadership Award

Being a professional and intellectual organization, the club on a yearly basis, identifies and honours deserving personalities who have done tremendously in the course of the year in the various field of endeavour on the leadership skill.

Monthly Business Luncheon

The club holds a luncheon each month featuring guest speakers and special programs, along with a catered meal.

Since its inception, the club has been the leading forum for business and government leaders to address issues of National importance ranging from trade, investment policy, monetary and fiscal matters, security, labour and employment, energy, education, health, politics and governance, et al.

Our History

The inspiration for the emergence of the AES Excellence club, Nigeria's intellectual club, came to mind when some Nigerian men and women of sincerity, patriotic conviction and integrity thought about a veritable platform where top players in all sectors of the economy and various works of life who are passionate about the Nigerian dream can meet, relate and proffer solutions to issues that affect our corporate existence and development as a nation.

It was felt that the club should serve as the fulcrum for the generation of potent progressive ideas that would fast track our overall total development on the human development index. Thus was born the AES Excellence Club as a Forum for generating Constructive Ideas, aimed at fast tracking national development.

A governing council was constituted with Dr. Ausbeth Ajagu as President, Chief (Dr.) Nike Akande (OON) as Chairperson, Olorugun Otega Emerhor, Sir Engr. Gowin Omene, Sir Engr. Ferdinand Agu, Dr. Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase, Prof. Emmanuel Chibundun and Rev. (Mrs.) Anuli Ausbeth Ajagu as members. Then, a body of patrons was assembled as the backbone of the club consisting of Chief Ernest Shonekan, (GCFR), Justice Mohammed Uwais, Amb (Dr.) Christopher Kolade, (CON) and Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, (OFR).The top notch in the public and private sectors were also invited to join the Club and many of them, including foreign nationals, responded favorably.

The AES Excellence Club was inaugurated at an impressive and colorful event on September 16, 2010 at The Golden Gate Paradise, Kingsway Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. At the event was Chief Ernest Shonekan, (Former Head of State) Dr. H.I Alile (Former DG, Nigerian Stock Exchange) and His Excellency, (Dr.) Christopher Kolade, Former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Pro Chancellor, Lagos Business School who delivered a speech, "Nigeria at 50".

Today, The AES Excellence Club, as an intellectual organization, has continued in its original mission of being a Forum for Constructive Ideas for the purpose of fast tracking National development.

Our Objectives

The AES Excellence Club being an initiative of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nigeria (AES) has the following objectives:

• To create platforms for individuals and Corporate Organizations to contribute to National development.

• To sensitize high net worth individuals and Corporate Organizations to their Corporate Social Responsibilities.

• To create a platform of service where members can deploy their natural endowments, experiences, passion, training and goodwill m service to humanity for personal fulfillment.

• To create opportunities for networking for expansion of business and other frontiers.

• To search out very credible organizations and individuals in the public and private sectors which/who have excelled in their fields of endeavour for conferment of "AES EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP AWARD"

• To do any other thing that would fast track national development.
